 All those who have a sweet tooth and crave for sugar can have sugar free puddings and desserts. Excess of sugar intake is not healthy for anyone. Nowadays everything is available sugar-free. Be it chocolates, puddings, sweets, cakes almost every sweet. Sugar-free pudding is easy to make. All those who want to live healthy should eliminate sugar from there life.  Sugar is associated with many diseases like obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer. One can consume various substitutes of sugar like honey, stevia, erythritol, yacon syrup, coconut sugar, and many more. Below is mentioned a recipe for a sugar-free pudding.

Sugar-Free Pudding: Vanilla Strawberry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups of skimmed milk
  • 3 tbsp. of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. of vanilla extracts
  • 6-7 strawberries.

Method

  • In a saucepan add skimmed milk, cornstarch, vanilla extracts. Give it a quick mix.
  • Put it on the burner on a low flame. Let it thicken into a smooth flowing consistency.
  • Take a mixer jar, add the strawberries, and blend it into a smooth paste.
  • 4.When the milk mixture has thickened. Let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Take nice glasses to pour the strawberry paste and over that pour the milk mixture.
  • With a spoon give a mix in the glass itself. Strawberry has a natural sweet taste and combined with milk and vanilla it tastes yum. Vanilla strawberry pudding is ready to be served.

Ingredients

  • One egg
  • 1tbsp of almond flour
  • 1 tbsp. of coconut flour
  • 1RX bar chocolate flavor
  • One tsp. of olive oil
  • ½ tsp. of baking powder
  • One tsp. of sour cream

Method

  • Beat the egg in a bowl.  Add almond and coconut flour, cream, olive oil, baking powder and beat it with the egg.
  • Now take a mixer and break the RX bar with your hands and put it in the mixer jar.
  • With the bar, add the egg mixture and blend it.
  • Take a coffee mug and spray some cooking oil in it and add the blended mixture in it.
  • Place the mug in the microwave for 1 minute. And the little cake will be baked.
  • Use a knife to separate the edges of the cake from the mug.
  • Slice the cake into two half’s and add whipped cream.
  • Top it up with broken RX bar pieces.

Few Substitutes Of Sugar

  1. HONEY– A thick golden syrup produced by bees is rich in antioxidants. Eating honey can lower down the risk of high cholesterol, and reduce sugar levels. It has many health benefits and has a small number of vitamins and minerals. But it is sweet too. And should not be consumed in excess amount.
  2. STEVIA– Stevia is a natural sweetener extracted from leaves of a shrub called STEVIA rebaudiana. It is basically found in South America. It has no calories, and its consumption does not result in weight gain. It also helps to lower down sugar levels, which helps to control diabetes. It also regulates blood pressure.
  3. XYLITOL– it is extracted from corn and is also found in many fruits and veggies. It has sweetness similar to sugar. It is a sugar alcohol. It contains zero fructose, so it has no adverse effects on health as sugar. It helps to increase calcium immersion in the body.
  4. YACON SYRUP– it is found in yacon plant scientifically known as Smallanthus sonchifolius. It has a sweet taste and is dark in color.

For all those who have a sweet tooth and crave to eat sweets and puddings, can make fruit puddings, which are healthy as well as tasty. People generally have this myth that pudding or dessert, if it does not, has white sugar, it is not a dessert in real sense. But it’s not true.
