One thing I enjoy doing is shopping for sugar free chocolate at Walmart. Not only do I find great bargains, but I can eat a bunch of the stuff and not get any weight. It’s a win-win! I’ve tried just about every diet product available including protein bars. And sugar-free chocolate is a favorite at Walmart.
I don’t like buying sugar-free candy and so I tend to shop at my local store when I go on vacation. Recently, I decided to try Outback Steakhouse’s new line of frozen dinner meats. I was thrilled when I saw the sugar-free options. The freezer aisle had a wide selection of all organic meats. I purchased several different types.
My favorite was Thai chicken. I wasn’t able to locate the free trail mix, but this did come in the packet. The first time I saw Thai chicken, it made me hungry as heck. I have to say, it tasted pretty good.
At first I thought sugar free chocolate at Walmart wasn’t going to be much good. I thought I would give them a try since they offer it in bulk. Boy was I wrong.
The sugar free chocolate at Walmart was really tasty. I really think that they switched it because they didn’t like the way I sounded when I talked about the switch to sugar free. But to be honest, the sweetness of the chocolate was out of this world. It wasn’t sweet enough for me to want to lick it. But, I couldn’t help myself.
I couldn’t stop eating the sugar-free chocolate. I found myself getting sugar all over my fingers and palms. If you’re like me, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. My hands were stained with sugar from all the different cups of coffee I drank throughout the day. I even spilled sugar free candy on my white shirt once while I was working out.
Well, not anymore. I just came across a blog that talks about sugar free candy. They say it’s better than regular sugar because it doesn’t affect your blood sugar. This is a relief to someone like me. It also helps if you’re watching your sugar intake. I can’t say that I’m on the level already, but I’m way down already.
The other good thing about the sugar free chocolate at Walmart is that you can find them in various flavors. They even have dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is always my favorite. It has tons of antioxidants that fight free radicals. If you’re an antioxidant junkie like me, then you will love these kinds of sweets.
In The End
All this talk of sugar free is starting to make me hungry. So I pop in a bag of my favorite granola cereal. You can also buy granola bars, but I find they have a lot of sugar. I usually eat the whole thing or half of a serving. I usually eat it in the morning when I wake up.
There is also fruit juice in the refrigerators in the freezer. It tastes just like the stuff I drink when I wake up in the morning. Wal-Mart has some great healthy options there too. It’s just a matter of using some creativity to turn those foods into healthy snacks. Good news for sugar free desserts!
