Mouth-Watering Recipe Ideas For Your Dining Room

Mouth-Watering Recipe Ideas: With the busy work schedules, families are busy, and as a result, many families are craving for some of the old fashioned, “high maintenance” desserts that most of us grew up with. Whether it is a visit to a favorite bakery or just a simple barbeque breakfast, mouth-watering dessert recipes are welcomed by our busy families and grandparents. Here are a few of our favorites.

Cookies

Most families have a favorite cookie recipe, but for our simple, easy, and low-fat version, try the old fashioned chocolate chip cookies. You can use your favorite chocolate recipe, but we prefer to make them with graham cracker crumbs, which add a great texture and taste to the cookies.

Raisins

We have always loved the traditional French pudding, and this year’s dish is the fruity and sweet combination of plums and raisins. It is so easy and quick to make, even children can enjoy it. You can make this for a brunch for one or a holiday party for the whole family. If you use store-bought, make sure it has plenty of sweeteners added to the pudding mix, because there will be enough left over to serve the family!

Tiramisu

If you have ever tried to make a tiramisu, you know it takes a special cocktail of ingredients to get it right. In this version, we’ve added a little fresh basil, and a little white wine to create a fresh, springy treat.

Other Ideas

Fun Kid’s Cookies. At our home, we all love making cookies and donuts, so we decided to take our easy, homemade version and turn it into fun kid’s cookies. For our simple blueberry flavored, sugar-free dough, we simply blend up some dried cranberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Then bake until they are golden brown and ready to eat.

Coconut Cake. Coconut cakes can be adapted to make a beautiful dessert or simply make a healthy dessert option. Making a cake with the right amount of coconut oil in it will add the right amount of healthiness to your dessert.

Vanilla Cake. A vanilla cake can easily be turned into a dessert by adding chocolate chips and more vanilla to it. As it should be.
